First of all, welcome to our introduction post — we're glad to have you here!

While introducing Vanilla, I’d like to clarify that this is a conceptual and entirely fantasy-based project.

As we all know, there is no official 40 cap in the original Silkroad Online, and this server was created purely as a concept with no financial intent whatsoever.

I’ve done my best to make the server as good as possible and carefully considered everything to ensure players enjoy it.

I truly hope we can grow this project together and turn it into something long-lasting.

I hope you’ll enjoy your time in Vanilla Silkroad, and thank you for reading the introduction all the way to the end.

Selling

Selling in-game items or services for real money or any goods unrelated to the game is strictly forbidden!

Even attempting to do so can result in a ban.

Advertising

Advertising in the game, on Discord, or through Discord direct messages is not allowed and can result in a ban.

Using the ingame or Discord chat

Maturity and respect are expected when chatting.

Treat each other kindly.

If you have a personal issue with someone, take it to private messages — do not bring it into group chats.

Violating this rule may lead to removal of your Discord membership if the incident happens on Discord, or login restrictions if the incident happens in the game.

Please be kind to each other and think twice before writing something you might regret later.

Just a few minor limits to mention…

Let’s not forget — no bots, PC limit is 1, and IP limit is 2 in our game.

Even though we stay true to the old school spirit, it's 2025 — we can't let you struggle too much at the start.

These items will be yours from the beginning:

– Your pet is 3 days active and comes with a second page unlocked!

– Starter items are non-tradable.

We made a small update to item stacks — some of them were honestly just annoying.

The only thing you need to know about the alchemy system:

Magic and attribute stones are sold by NPCs for gold, and there is no plus limit in the game.

All original quests have been removed, and all quests from level 1 to 40 have been completely redesigned.

You will be rewarded with 3 Silk for every quest you complete, and to help you during the leveling phase, you'll receive plenty of potions and skill point support.

Randomly spawning Sheep mobs in grinding areas reward you with random Gold, Silk, or Skill Points with each hit.

These mobs appear in specific quantities within each level zone and spawn at completely random times.

For example, a level 11 character cannot attack a Sheep designed for level 1–10 players.

The classic 3-job system you all missed is now active — get ready for more exciting job wars!

And just a quick reminder: there's a 20-minute delay between switching from Hunter/Trader to Thief and vice versa.

Caravan trading takes place between Jangan and Donwhang cities.

Each pet's slot capacity varies depending on its level and speed.

We’ve made sure to keep Item Mall and Silk prices truly affordable.

Staying loyal to the old-school spirit, all avatar dresses and modern visuals have been completely removed.

I'd also like to share the prices of some essential items with you in this announcement.

This is the sweetest phase of the game — grinding...

A slow but satisfying journey of character development awaits you.

Most monster slots have been reworked and continue to be adjusted.

Instead of asking "how long does it take to reach level 40?" — just enjoy the ride!

 From level 1–32, all monsters drop Magic and Attribute Stones between degree 1–4.

 From level 1–40, elixirs drop from all mobs.

 As in the original game, all SOX items drop from mobs of their respective levels.

 Selling items to NPCs gives 75% less gold, so every player will need to engage in the caravan system eventually.

NO PAIN NO GAIN!

Using third-party software for botting is strictly blocked and forbidden in our game.

To offer a bit of convenience, we provide the brand-new Ninja Mini Macro Bot — functional and fast!

Of course, a pet filter is a must.

As we’ve reached 2025, isn’t it clear by now?

The biggest reason behind the collapse of game balance and economy has always been third-party software and overpowered bots.

We’ve taken a firm stance against this issue — and completely blocked all external bot programs.

Only the in-game macro system we provide is allowed during grinding.

Everything else is strictly restricted to preserve fairness, competition, and the core spirit of Vanilla gameplay.

To maintain game balance, content is currently limited — but more items will be added over time without breaking the spirit of the game.

Offline Stall system has been implemented to ensure that setting up a stall is never a problem on our server.

What does this system do?

After setting up your stall with your character, you can press the "Go Offline" button to instantly switch into offline mode.

Your character will remain in the stall until your next login, and this will not be affected by PC or IP limits.

Since Vanilla is a purely fun-based server, there is absolutely no requirement to donate or spend money to enjoy the game.

Here are a few ways you can earn free Silk:

Complete our specially designed custom quests — each one rewards you with 3 bonus Silk in addition to the regular quest rewards.

As explained in the Sheep system, you can randomly earn Silk with each hit you land.

Hunt unique monsters to earn Silk rewards.

If you have Premium PLUS, you’ll receive 1 Silk per hour automatically.
